Smeal College of Business looks back at the Impact Case Competition Fall 2024

As the 2024 year comes to an end, the team at CBoS would like to take a look back at all the work and effort put into the Fall 2024 Smeal Impact Case Competition. Organized by the Center for the Business of Sustainability, the competition is the first fall case competition that the center has held.
At the bi-annual competition, 6 teams registered with the following five teams earning a place in the finals to compete for first ($3,000), second ($2,000), and third place ($1,000)

American University
Pennsylvania State University (3 teams)
Indiana University
The case focused on the food waste crisis across the country. Teams were expected to create a plan to help lessen the waste on their local campus.
